Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.
-William Arthur Ward

Mel Kaye from Attitude, The Ultimate Power posted a guest post as a part of the Desiderata series at every, every minute. In his post, he links to a post on his site with a video put together by the Junior Attractors, The Gratitude Dance. I felt compelled to share it with you here.

It’s silly, it’s simple and it’s spreading around the world like a virus. You can’t watch this without smiling and feeling a sense of wonder.

If you’ve ever felt alone in your desire for a life of gratitude, you now know that you are not.

Bluskygirl of lifegoddess.com shares her personal struggle with body image in her post, Body Image Baggage. She addresses the issue of societal pressure on women to look a certain way and her commitment to let go of those pressures. An issue I have seen affect many women I care deeply about into misery and poor physical health. I truly hope her words reach and inspire many.

Here’s another one from Bob at every, every minute. He has a way of expressing appreciation for the little things in life that always affects my perspective. His post, Sibling Love, inspires me to appreciate my own siblings more and to see to it that my only son, Tristen, has one of his own someday.

Isn’t this video great! Just a quick correction, I’m a “he” not a “she.”

I’m an only child, so my kids are really showing me that I missed out on something special by not having siblings. Thanks for the link!

@Mel. Thanks for the visit. Sorry about the incorrect gender assumption. I’m not sure why I assumed you were a “she,” but it has been corrected.

    Hi,
I’ve just tagged you at Transforming Stress. It would great if you joined Peter’s meme, but if you’re not interested just regard it as link love.

Thanks for the link! That was a very personal post for me, but I am painfully aware of how many women deal with the same things.
